The Challenge for Church Corporate Prayer: “1-1-2” (one representative from each family coming to the Wednesday night prayer meeting at least twice every month). We are exhorted to pray and pray together (1 Tim. 2:1; Matt 18:19-20), so come and pray. We meet at the JBC church every Wednesday night at 7:00 PM. Be on time.
   

 

 

Mission - Pray for:

 

Tom and Kathy Lindstorm (China Outreach Ministries, University of Minnesota)

  • Kathy and Tom to model a relevant, practical, and real Faith for their children, and to find ways to integrate things into visible tangible faith stretchers for their family.

  • Praise the Lord for their health, especially Kathy's.

  • For Tom to know how to lead the family proactively.

  • Schooling for their kids: for wisdom about possible home-schooling.

Pray for the follow-up after the Short-terms Missions Trip

 

Matthew and Katie Watts (Campus Crusade, East Asia)

  • The Family: Love for Christ, one another and those God brings into their lives.

  • Missionaries (from the country they serve) who will be sent of East Asia, Central Asia, South East Asia, Siberia & the Middle East to be filled with the Spirit & love of Christ.

  • Matt: to serve with joy, wisdom and faithfulness as national leader to Missions and Operations.

  • Katie: to assist the National Women's team and help mothers to be excited about God's calling for them in the family.

  • Alathai & Abigayle: to grow in wisdom and knowledge of Christ.

Church - Pray for:

  • Church Unity, Pastoral staff, Church officers, Church Financial and Missions Needs.

  • ESL program: for attendees, teachers (Chris and Laura Schmidt) and assistants.

  • Faithfulness in Witnessing and Evangelism – Did you share the gospel last week?

Personal - Pray for:

  • For Sara Ganga's family: her sister Christy has brain tumor and breast cancer, and is diagnosed with a few months to live. She has two children (ages 13 and 9 - living in London); arrangements for the care of the children is unknown.

  • For pregnant mother: Sarah O'Neal (March); Helen Yu (July).
