One aspect of glorifying the Lord Jesus Christ is to fulfill His Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 16:15, John 20:21, Luke 24:27, and Acts 1:8). Jireh Bible Church has committed to Missions since its inception. The task of the JBC Missions Service Group seeks to edify the church outside of the direct sphere of influence of the local congregation.   

Its goals are to proclaim the Lord Jesus Christ and make disciples both within the country and abroad by:

• Taking part in church planting and development, 

• Providing personal training and equipping for the missions field, and

• Taking part in projects which minister to the physical and spiritual needs of man.

To fulfill these goals, the group promotes the following functions:

• Stimulates prayer and awareness of needs of missionaries in the congregation through weekly prayer requests as well as monthly reports during Worship Services,

• Sponsors Annual Missions Conference to keep Missions in focus,

• Allocates funds to various missionaries and organizations,

• Recruits volunteers for missions service,

• Ensures the care of missionaries on the field and on furlough, and

• Serves as a liaison between missionaries and the congregation.
